This Is Us is a show that depicts the growth from one to a sense of team or “us.” The show begins with one simple rhythmic motif and builds and develops to a strong ending. A Star Spangled Banner quote reflects the foundations of our country. In “Teamwork” two solos become one duet. The closer uses “Ode to Joy” motives to bring the band together – “This Is Us.”
