SHOW SUMMARY

“They say good things come in threes.” . . . “Triad” was originally inspired by the triad of general effect: intellectual, aesthetic, emotional.

This show exhausts the number three while infusing all facets of general effect into each moment. Look for three note motives, triad chords, time signatures in three, three bar phrases, sections repeated three times, three-mallet writing, three arm tenor feature, and much more. Visually this was originally set with a triangular tarp design, tertiary colors, sections in threes and a triangle pit set-up.
