The Emperor tells the story of overcoming the oppression of a tyrant. The show starts off in a dystopian world where the people have no freedom to live their lives as they choose. Towards the middle of the show they begin to have hope and they ultimately rise up to overcome their oppressor and begin a new, freer way of life.
